Quilting

My mother was an avid crafts-woman who always had at least one project going in our Craft Room. I watched her casually when I was young, and then obsessively when I was older and she was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. I wanted to learn everything she had to teach me while I still had her. She experimented with different patterns, styles, and cultural traditions and her wide-ranging ability inspired me to be adventurous as well. I am a history lover and ex-high school history teacher. I love the history of quilting and feel such kinship with past peoples when I sit down to sew. My mother passed away right after I turned 26, but I am inspired by her every day. I sew to be with her.

I’m even happy to set aside time so we could make the quilt together. Price will depend on the pattern, technique, size and fabric used. Please contact me below to get the conversation started!
